Dr. Heike Brugger, Fraunhofer ISI, explains the newTRENDS project during the WHY projects cross-meeting.
Ulrich Reiter from TEP Energy opens up about his envolvement in the project: “For me personally aspects of new behavioral trends and how we integrate them in the current model setup is actually the interesting part, because it’s very important to reflect them in these model environments. Our models are mainly used for strategic, long-term decisions, and the better we can represent current developments in the models the better the forecast and the advices we can give to our clients and partners”.
“We expect to substantially enhance our modelling activities by crucial aspects, particular the integration of prosumer related behaviour in our previous energy demand model” - says Dr. Lukas Kranzl from the Technical University Vienna while briefly introducing the newTRENDs project.
